A New Class of Autonomous
Underwater  Vehicles

Isar Subsea is developing the next generation of AUV-WCROV technology — autonomous, mission-oriented, and built to redefine efficiency in subsea operations across energy, defense and ocean research.

The Ocean's Most Demanding Operations Are Still Unsolved

Subsea operations today rely on Work-Class ROVs that require weeks of setup, manual maneuverability and surface-based data processing. The result: missions that take longer, cost more, and carry unnecessary risk.

Every underwater project carries the same hidden cost equation:

Total Mission Cost = Setup + Maneuverability + Data Processing

An improvement — or failure — in any of these variables translates directly into millions of dollars on the P&L of operators worldwide. The industry is ready for a smarter solution.

challenge

Autonomous. Mission-Oriented. Built for the Deep harsh conditions

Isar Subsea is developing an AUV-WCROV — a new class of autonomous underwater vehicle that combines the work capabilities of a Work-Class ROV with the autonomy and intelligence of an AUV.

Our systems are designed from the ground up with three core principles:

Modular Systems Architecture

A modular architecture allows the same core platform to adapt across different requirements without requiring entirely new vehicle designs

Data & AI at the Core

Onboard AI and edge processing enable real-time decision making underwater, eliminating surface dependency and reducing mission time

Mission Oriented - Autonomy

Operators assign goal-based tasks. The vehicle executes, adapts and reports — with human intervention only when truly needed. With Capabilities to integrate with a hosting system
